El Capitan is aptly named as the Captain of the Bitterroot Range. The Captain sits atop a mountain range within a mountain range. Within view from the summit are some of the icons of the Selway Bitterroot: Trapper Peak, Como Peaks, Sugarloaf Peak and all the associated lakes and streams.
Take a deep breath of fresh air with the Captain. In the deep of Midnight, of course!
